So last week, we had the first image of the new generation Lara Croft that will be hitting the gaming world next year. This week, Naughty Dog stepped up to the announcement podium to give us the third installment of the hugely popular Uncharted series with Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Read on for more info and a sneaky little trailer of this fantastic looking game.
Slated for release on November 1st, 2011, developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Entertainment, Uncharted 3 sees the return of Nathan Drake (voiced by Nolan North as always), and this time with another piece of history to capture.
The game centres around Drake's relationship with his mentor and father-like figure, Victor "Sully" Sullivan, and has Drake racing across the world to the Rub 'al khali Desert in the Arabian peninsula in search of a long forgotten lost city. When you hear the concept, you think "same old story," but Naughty Dog always seem to come up with a way to make it fresh and entrancing like no other has, and this seems no different.
This is still obviously a PS3 exclusive and will be dispensed on no other console, so if you are looking to pick up this beauty of a game, then a PS3 is a must to play it. Although, if you are a fan of it, then the likelyhood that you own a PS3 is already quite high.

This city in which Drake is searching has been known as a number of names throughout history, like "Atlantis of the sands" and "Iram of the Pillars," which leaves a lot of room for Naughty Dogs own unique take on the legend. Also new in the game are features like enhanced backwards climbing and the ability to fight multiple enemies at once rather than single target killing.
This will most likely be one of the most anticipated and sought after games of 2011; fortunately, there are some videos leaking out of in-game footage that will keep our apetites whet until the game is released next year, but for now, check out the amazing trailer below of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.
Until next time nerdlings Ax
