Emily Ragozzino is the creator of Tom Boy Tara, a web comic showing the world that women are not just a bunch of Barbie dolls. 

In addition to Tom Boy Tara, Emily has created and published a bunch of other comics about female outcasts entitled "Dork Girl" (a trilogy of books) and "Why I Hate Cheerleaders". Both can be found at lulu.com and in various comic stores in the Indy sections in Toronto, including Paradise Comics, Cyber City, Beguiling and Silver Snail. It was after having so much fun creating "Why I Hate Cheerleaders" that Emily explored other ideas for comics, till settling on Tom Boy Tara, which she hopes to keep doing for quite some time.
