Nerdiest Obsession: Doctor Who

Wastes too much time on: Youtube.com, surfing for interesting vids, reading webcomics, checking to see if there are new movie trailers up on Apple Trailers

Favourite female nerd: Willow Rosenberg

Favourite male nerd: Weird Al

Secretly collects: Doctor Who stuff, but it's really not that secret :)

Nerdy line that makes you swoon: 'I love you.' 'I know.'

Top 5 sites visited daily:
Youtube
Apple.com/trailers
Fans of Life On Mars
Penny Arcade
PVPonline

Top 5 things everyone should check out ASAP:
The Television shows: Life On Mars, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Being Human, True Blood.

The comics: Therefore Repent, and Sean Wards Electric Comic Freakout. Great stuff all. Unusual stuff all. Careful, you may enjoy yourself. ;)

Anything else to add? Make your own pizza. It's easy, cheap, and you can put whatever you want on it.

Books

Fave book(s): The Outlaw Demon Wails, The Hobbit, The Princess Bride, Neverwhere, The Golden Compass, Vigilant
Fave author(s): Kim Harrison, Neil Gaiman, Terry Prachet
Most disappointing "based on the novel" film: The Golden Compass. Why why why did they do such a piss poor job?
Books you'd love to see made into a film: Neverwhere. But I'm not going to hold my breath, all adaptations have been total cock-ups so far.
Most impactful book/author: Neil Gaiman. After I'd read a Sandman graphic novel, I'd just be floating for the rest of the day. Very cool.
First book you ever read: Can't remember. Probably just a reading guide :) One of the first books I remember is one of the Seasame Street Big Books.
First book that made you really like reading: The Paper Bag Princess. It's just full of so much fun stuff, I can't get enough of it really. What a jerk Ronald is, how the dragon will 'eat you tomorrow.' etc. Even better if you read it out loud :)
Currently reading: S.M. Sterlings The Sky People
Fave book news site: ...I have none really. If I want news on books, I check out amazon or the library :)

Video Games

Favourite game(s): Monkey Island! And Loom. And Myst! (the first one of course). I'm a big fan of all of those riddle games that Lucasarts put out the the nineties. I really miss all those :/
Favourite character(s): Guybrush Threepwood and Bobbin Threadbare. Guybrush because of his big shiny naïvety, and Bobbin because he's just such a decent guy, without being boring. I hate stupid good guys.
Biggest cash grab game(s): remember. Um...Nope. Can't remember.
Spent too much time playing: The first Monkey Island, because my brother and I couldn't figure out one of the puzzles! (it was how to get the compass off the wall in LeChuck's room). Well that and insult sword fighting was just awesome! :)
Most disappointing ending in a game: The Crystal Key. Erg. Terrible terrible. You defeat the villian and right away, the credits roll. Worst. Anti-climax. Ever.
Would fit right in: Loom. I like to sing, they make magic by singing. Perfect :)
First game ever played: Tetris (on the original black and white Gameboy even!)
Currently playing: Penny Arcade Adventures: Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness part 2.

Comics

Fave TPB(s): Starman: Sins of The Father
Fave single issue: Promethea #1
Fave character(s): Promethea
Fave storyline(s): The Promethea mentoring storyline (do I sense a pattern?) ;D
First comic book ever read: Archie something or other :)
Currently reading: Buffy Season Eight. And season two of Top Ten

Movies

Fave film(s): The first Star Wars films, The Lord of The Rings Trilogy, The Princess Bride, The Matrix, Lucky Number Slevin.
Fave director(s): Sophia Coppola
Fave actor(s)/actress(es): Christian Bale and John Barrowan. Beautiful and talented men both :) And Meryl Streep, because she can do anything.
Most inspiring film(s): Empire Of The Sun. There doesn't seem to be much plot other then 'war sucks', but I still love it :)
Biggest cinematic letdown: The Phantom Menace
First film ever seen: Star Wars: A New Hope. Just blew my mind wide open. Thats when I started down the road to geekery, and forever has it dominated my destiny! :D
Last film you watched: Twelve Angry Men

Music

Fave band(s): Dandy Whorhols, Scissor Sisters, Queen, New Order, Flight of the Conchords
Fave musician(s): Bryan Adams, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Weird Al
Fave album(s): Good Will Hunting soundtrack
Best band/concert to see live: Weird Al in Halifax in 1999. That was fun man :)
Currently hooked on: Scissor Sisters

Science!

Fave theory: Evolution
Fave scientist(s): Albert Einstein. He said 'Imagination is more important then knowledge.'
Fave experiment(s) you've conducted: Making a pickle light up. They glow orange.
